Information we collect
We do not collect personal information, usage data, analytics, crash reports, advertising identifiers, or location data through Times. No account is required to use the app.
Selected text and date conversion
When you use Convert Selection, Times reads the text you selected so it can identify and convert dates. This processing happens locally on your Mac. The selected text is not transmitted to us or to a third-party server, and Times does not log it.
In apps that do not expose selected text through macOS Accessibility, Times may temporarily use the clipboard to read the selection. It restores the prior clipboard contents after the conversion attempt.
Permissions
Times may request macOS Accessibility permission only to read selected text when you invoke the Convert Selection shortcut. You can deny or revoke this permission in System Settings. Core world-clock features continue to work without it.
Data stored on your Mac
Your configured timezones, custom labels, display preferences, and keyboard shortcut settings are stored locally using macOS preferences. Removing the app and its preferences removes this locally stored configuration.
Purchases
Optional Premium purchases are processed by Apple through the Mac App Store and StoreKit. We do not receive or store your payment card details. Apple’s handling of purchase information is governed by Apple’s privacy policy.
This website
This website does not use analytics, advertising trackers, accounts, or cookies. Following a link to the App Store or GitHub takes you to a service governed by that provider’s privacy policy.
Children’s privacy
Times does not knowingly collect personal information from children or any other users.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy when Times changes. The effective date above will show the latest revision. For questions, contact Fortyone Agency LLC through the Times App Store page.
